When should you report?

You can report when you suspect that someone is breaking environmental legislation, for example:

  • Illegal discharges to land, water or air
  • Unauthorised logging or land preparation
  • Littering on a larger scale
  • Damage to protected species or natural environments

What happens after you submit?

Your report is registered by the responsible supervisory authority. In some cases you may be contacted for additional information. All reports are assessed, but you may not always receive individual feedback.

Emergency situations

In acute situations with danger to life, health or severe environmental damage you must always call 112. For other urgent but not acute cases, you can contact your local fire and rescue service or municipality.
